Ultramat

It is ideal for interior or exterior applications with the appropriate type of textured insert that is selected.  The carpet treads are securely held within extruded aluminium retaining sections which are lightly furrowed on the exposed surface to produce a non-skid surface.

Overview

ULTRAMAT is available in 10mm Open Construction Slimline. It is also available in 10mm & 16mm Closed Construction.

An Open Construction Slimline aluminium extrusion system is linked with a perforated joining strip to allow for drainage. They are best suited to exterior applications where provisions have been made for drainage in the matwell.   Anodising of aluminium sections in selected colours can be arranged.  Note: Anodising is a coating, which will in time, wear with surface contact. Refer to specification form for more details.

Our Ontera Range of cut pile inserts come in a stunning selection of carpet colours available in the latest shades, ranging from soft muted shades to deeper bold tones. This offers a carpet to co-ordinate with any chosen colour scheme.

The Ontera Cut Pile inserts are more suited to indoor entrance applications. This insert is very popular with high end commercial, retail and apartment buildings.

Ontera Wombat

The Ontera Wombat Range of Loop Pile carpet tread is a hard wearing, attractive and easy to clean insert that is suited to both interior and exterior uses. The Wombat range comes in 6 colours.

Installation

Birrus Matting Systems require an internal recess depth of 12mm or 20mm. Standard Birrus matwell frames are fabricated using aluminium alloy, brass and stainless steel angle for compatibility with our mats.

Place framing in the recess, and set angles level with adjoining floor surfaces. Grout in or screw fix as required. Contractors are advised, to ensure proper performance of the entire assembly it is absolutely necessary that base of matwell is formed to a level plane.
